Wildermuth Wetland Planting

Over 400 Wetland Plugs, Shrubs & Trees Planted

Despite the below freezing temperatures on Saturday, November 15, over 25 courageous volunteers joined the Council for a wetland planting at the newly constructed Wildermuth project. The volunteers bundled up and planted OVER 400 wetland plugs, shrubs and trees in just under three hours! Thank you to those who braved the chilly weather and helped our future wetland thrive. The Council is fortunate to have such resilient and dedicated volunteers. We also thank Craig Straub, Apex Companies, for instructing the volunteers and helping with event coordination.

Wildermuth is a 20-acre wetland creation and stream restoration project located in West Chester Township.
