Throw Back Thursday: James N. Gamble Montessori High School's Residential Rain Garden Planting at the Mill Creek Watershed Council

On Friday, October 23, 2015, the James N. Gamble Montessori High School concluded their Community Service Week at the offices of the Mill Creek Watershed Council of Communities by planting a residential rain garden and cleaning up trash along the Mill Creek. Thirty 7th and 8th grade students and three teachers brought the demonstration project to life by installing more than 50 native plants and flowers.

The students and faculty from Gamble Montessori were a joy to work with and the Council sincerely thanks the volunteers for their hard work. The Council hopes to continue working with the school on future Mill Creek projects.
