Seeking: Communications & Marketing Intern

The Mill Creek Watershed Council of Communities (Council) is seeking an energetic, creative person with an interest in the environment and nature to fill the role of Communications & Marketing Intern. The position will be a balance of interactive meetings, administrative work, and play with a purpose in the Mill Creek.

The Mill Creek Marketing and Communications Project will support the organization in marketing, communication, and fundraising efforts. This opportunity is designed for those interested in gaining professional experience in the nonprofit sector and building his or her portfolio through the development of a comprehensive communications campaign. The Communications and Marketing Intern will inventory the Council’s current web and social media platforms and expand on those to tell the story of the Mill Creek to communities, businesses, and residents. 

Hours: 7-10 hours/week - some may be completed independently
