Volunteer Maintenance Week with the Catholic HEART Workcamp and General Mills
On June 17-20, The Council hosted twelve hard-working volunteers from the Catholic HEART Workcamp. This is the second year we have worked with this program and the volunteers continue to impress us more and more! A very special thanks to the volunteers from Catholic HEART Workcamp, Brian Bohl from Hamilton County Soil & Water Conservation District, the Cincinnati Park Board, City of Wyoming, City of Sharonville, General Mills and the Cincinnati Tool Bank for helping to make this event possible.
We kept the volunteers busy all week! Here are the places they cleaned up and removed invasive species:
- Twin Creek Preserve (Sharonville)
- Oak Park (Wyoming)
- General Mills (behind plant in Sharonville)
