Local garden with native plants

Native plants, which have adapted to southwest Ohio's spring rains and summer dry periods, require less water and fertilizer. Consider planting a simple and inexpensive rain garden to reduce water runoff, improve water quality and beautify your community.

Rain Barrel

Rain barrels (as shown on the right) or other rain catchment systems are alternatives to a rain garden when the terrain or other conditions exist that make a rain garden impractical.  A rain barren is an excellent source for watering
plants in any garden on the property.
